HTC Creates A Hero
Htc announces their Hero specs on gsmarena.
From what I have seen this might be the most user appealing of all the Android HTC phones. It just seems more slick.
I read this from engadgetmobile. I had a good chuckle at their linked video
I am looking for an android-phone and it seems that the HTC Hero could be a really good choice. But there are 2 points I don’t like:
1) The internal RAM is too little: 288 MB RAM, 512 MB ROM
2) The phone doesn’t support ogg compared to HTC G1 and HTC Magic. I don’t understand why HTC dropped the ogg-support
The Battery could be better (Li-Ion 1350 mAh compared to Samsung I7550 with Li-Ion 1440 mAh)
And this one?

It’s under development.
250-300 €
And opensource hardware.

Got my HCT hero 2 weeks ago and I have to say, I am very impressed with it indeed. I bought a faster class 6 micro SD card and that’s smoothed the phone performance right out! HTC are working on a firmware update as we speak which will also iron out some of the initial glitches too… Love the way facebook and filckr are integrated with all your contacts! So glad I got rid of my iPhone
