Vote with your money. Sell those Blackberries and cancel your contracts.

Android or Palm Pre's phones seem to understand a thing or two about freedom - although much more needs to be done, it's not anywhere as obtuse vision as RIM's.

While we are at it, can we give every vendor that packages their hardware firmware and other agnostic things up in .EXE format (Hello Canon http://web.canon.jp/imaging/eosd/firm-e/eos7d/download.html?submitButtonName=I+Agree ) a serious collective kick in the behind or a group-sourced spanking?

It's getting to the point of absolute frustration. Never mind how many web sites block people using Linux despite the fact that the web interface / what not works perfectly fine???

It's disgusting. Our collective voices should scream.

@zenarcher: Truthfully I prefer my nice ubuntu-packaged-applications but it really would have been nice to not need Windows VM to install their SDK.

bjavaloader FTW!! seriously nothing is easier then bjavaloader install filename.cod (It also contains their proprietary bbdrivers ye I mean a entery into /etc/udev/ was so complicated you needed to install their drivers for)
